Since someone has posted again about skeezers killer pic I'll post mine too. This is my first attempt at 2d art Ive been doing 3d for a while (trying to get that ever elusive game design job) but I saw skeezers pic and just had to give it a shot. Any critics good or bad are welcome.

*nod* follow anticz example. Btw, you should try to stay away from the airbrush tool for now ... because it makes your highlighting/shading lumpy... and it isn't consistent. for now, use the paintbrush tool and just experiment. |

anticz: thanks for the pic with the light reference it will help if I ever go back to try to recolor this pic.
Eviltoylet: which painting are you referring to and isn't the Dodge/Burn tool a better tool for shading or do you recommend using paintbrush instead for shading.
above: like I said criticisim is welcome but how about being more constructive with the comment. If something is wrong I'm sure Tenkas and myself would like to know what it is or maybe some help or tips on how to make it better.
Just a little background info on mine I was trying to go for the anime look on the picture thats why I left so much of the outline in. I was inspired by a scale model of a Gundam Wing mobile suit that had the same color scheme. I thought with the armor and the visor she kind of looked like a Mobile suit pilot.
