Just wondering, when u guys set up u're custom brushes in photoshop. did u change the spacing. casue i noticed by default the spacing of the brush are set to 25% and it's annoying when u have a big brush and when u start drawin' there's spaces in between resulting in an unsmooht line
setting it to 1% is so much better?. i just realized this now.. ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/tongue.gif) |

Absolutely, Spacing is one of the critical factors in creating a custom brush - too much creates uneven lines, and too litle can wash out the detail and chew up ram on big brushes. I set the spacing on each brush individually, by testing it on a blank canvas, zooming in to see uneven edges and keeping an eye on the detail. Sometimes you might find a large setting, or even turning spacing off, works for a particular effect - it can give you a great textural effect rather than the usual strokey feel of brushes. Experiment, and learn what the setting do and why, then you'll be in the best position to decide what is right for the effect you're after.

if you don't like the spacing, change it, hehe.
Because i have a question and i just realized why when i draw wihta big brush the spacing screws it up alot. I fixed it now and set everything to 1%. and it werks soo much better
thanks!
