Nightime: I don't feel alone anymore
Spike.com : I've had acrylics stored for years and they're not dry. As long as NO air doesn't gets in contact with the paint everything's fine.
Oh and btw, erasing on a drawing is baaad baaaad ! Never erase ! That's what my teachers told me at least

I always started out with traditional mediums and I also prefer them to digital, I love the smell if the oil in oil paint. There are also alot of things that you can do with traditional media still that you can't do digital but that will change soon I belive. Photoshop is expensive also but at least you only have to pay once as opposed to buying a $100 tube of Cadmium Red light every few weeks. But the fact of the matter is if you suck at drawing and the basic building blocks of art your going to suck in digital art too. |

I am inspired by the positive response that I got from this post. I'm currently working on a oil painting of one of my favorite characters.
I will continue create digital art but, I feel that getting back some of my roots is something that I must do.
When I finish my web site I will post this work. |

I say work with what makes you happy!
If you like to drawing with dry turds on the sidewalk on a hot n' sunny day, well then that's you're thing! But let me tell anyone that may be hurt or offended by my words!
To anyone who takes critism to heart, I say-
" Are you or are you not an Artist? You're supposed to be above that sort of thing!"
after all I never take anyone's comments that I don't like to seriously!
Learn from what you can, and the rest .... disregard!!!!!! |
