This doubles as a character concept for my strip and a main graphic for my updated page.
The column will have links on it. And she will be replacing the redhead in my last color sketch as the heroine. Speaking of which, I need to get to work on page 2

Funky shit...Nice job...hehe I don't like this as much as some of your other pieces...I guess maybe because it has more of a cartoony feel than the simple drama of your other pieces...But good job nonetheless.
Edit:
Found what was bothering me...Her left leg; Wouldn't her foot be turned in under her body, in that position, instead of to the outside...?

I really like the girl and the imp. I don't like the cracks on the column. They look pretty artificial, like you spent very little time on them. Also, the arrows need to go. They serve no purpose. Fix up the column a bit, take out the arrows, and you have a great splash image.

On a second look, I see that they do servie a purpose (the girl is taking cover behind the column). But do arrows pierce stone columns? Just my thoughts

Hey Flex, I really like this one, the pose is really nice. hehe. I agree about the direction of the foot. I've dealt with the same problem in my own work.
One thing I'd like to point out though is that the level of detail in the imp and the rest of the drawing is misrepresented in her face. I think you should decide one way or the other whether this is a straight comic illustration or a semi realistic painting.
Anyway, very nice pic I really like the tattoo and her left glove. real nice

the arrows give her a reason to hide behind the column and have her dagger at ready.

Hey Flex,
Nice picture, I really like the arm details and the boots.
I see you're taking a different style in this one? What prompted the change? Or just experimenting?
Looks good either way, great stuff

Heh, the reason why the style looks a little different is because the drawing was done about 3 years ago with a ball point pen and colored in photoshop But I've always liked it. She's just a character I had in mind a while back and I found the graphic just a couple days ago.
DuKEZ: Thanks, it's my older way of doin' it.
Visigoth: You're totally right about the foot, I never even thought about it. Though if you are in a wide stance and drop quickly your feet can point out but they just don't rest as flat on the ground as I have them. And it is true, it is pretty cartoony
Xcal: Yeah I agree on the cracks. And the arrows can if they're enchanted
Skeezer: The original drawing is real cartoony, I think at the time I did the highlights and shadows real soft rather than making them comic book sharp and differentiated. This was one of my first photoshop coloring attempts.
kig: Yep
jasonN: just an oldie
Thanks guys for the replies. I'll probably either touch up this one with the suggestions or maybe just redo it.
