I just recently discovered this nifty screensaver at www.drawinghand.com. It actually is an animated hand drawing complete works of art from start to finish. I wouldn't call the work top-notch, but its still very interesting to watch it be drawn.
I can't seem to find, however, any information about software to record your own drawings for the screensaver. The page includes links to other peoples "screensaver art", so I know the software has been distributed in the past. Any of you guys here on the forum know anything about this?
Thanks,
Ryan Malm

Sorry guys no serial number.
I did find a place to get the "make your own" program. And, you can load the other drawings in it... but it only works fully for 14 days.
Here it is:
www.drawinghand.com/drawyourown.html
strangely enough.. theres no link to these pages from the main page on his site. Maybe the program is no longer for sale? You can still download the trial version though, so give it a try. |

Hey IO_error, that program is cool. I saw how that guy drew the lion, yeah it is certainly interesting seeing how others draw/paint. Btw do you have a serial I could use with 4.0? I just want to see the some other drawings and with the demo I can only see one. |

If you want to view other drawings in the trial version just download them go into
the drawing hand folder on your harddrive
and locate the file "king.rdr".
(This is the lion-sketch from the trial version.)
Then rename it to "king.bak" or whatever you like and name the file of the painting you
want to see "king.rdr".
This works fine unless you want to see multiple drawings shown in the screensaver |

Interesting workaround. I have purchased a copy of both the screensaver and the drawYourOwn software. I received an email from the author saying he was currently re-writing the creation program to be much better, and thats why he isn't publicly supporting the older version.
cheers,
