ok, i'm working on a more 'painterly' one, but this looked kinda nice by just 'filling in the spaces'.. - all the shading here is from the drawing, i just filled the white spaces with uniform colors.

(the gun doesnt have any shading so it kinda stands out there :P )

a terrific drawing, this.

eetu.

Is it possible to get a slightly bigger version Waco? I started doing it but I'd like to go into more detail seeing as it's such a fine drawing.

Did I mention you're depressingly good?

Hey your line work and proportion are awsome
Did you do roughs first and post the cleanup one?, or is that the first drawing?

Arrgh! What happened? I thought I had posted a response to this thread before leaving on Thursday!!! It's gone!! Must've not hit the submit button or something??

Anyway, my apologies for the lack of response, I've been out of town since thursday. Great work people!!

Nex, eetu, Iska - really like the color schemes

TENMAN - Geez, Erik!! really cool lighting scheme, I particularily like the holes in the floor, great idea. Looks like an opportunity for more underlighting too...

Gecko - Very cool, really moody.

Lucky Strike - I do a light pencil drawing to block in the shapes, then go over in ink. This pic is out of my sketch book. P.S. I'm originally from TO also!

It's pretty cool to see other people's interpretations of your design. thanks, guys!

Phil.

Hi.

Here is a preview of my attempt at coloring your image. I'm a newbie, that's why i'm not working very fast. Please, post your comments.

PS: Don't forget it's just a preview!

Sneaky bastard. You posted this while I was away. I may color this when I get home tonight. Cool looking character. Gecko's version reminds me of Tribes 2 for some reason.

I have reduced a drawing of sheer magnificence into a blotch of color and light. Hopefully, you'll like it.

Awesome drawing WacoMonkey, it's the best I have seen for some time.
