Can't finish the mouth, need suggestions, This is a drawing of Russel Crowe from Gladiator, His mouth is slightly open in th picture and getting the depth is tough,
I never seem to get it right, any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thank

Eh?! It looks pretty good already. Being able to draw what ya did you should be able to reproduce the mouth from the reference, no? If not, at least show the reference... |

Why don't you try rendering a simple mouth in 3D with the same lighting or ask your little brother to pose for you as an example?

That's a really great sketch! I usually cover up the areas i can't draw... like all characters in my sketch book wear sunglasses! LOL. You could draw a Sub-Zero mask over his mouth or something... Or put a word bubble over it so he says something like: "YO!"

Follow the photo you are using for referance.
Don't cover it up, it's a bad idea, cause all your next drawings will suffer the same problem.
