One of my latest Painter pics...Sorry about the stupid layout, but I've been so tired of the usual layouts lately that I just needed to do something different. Let me know what you think...

Hey Boomstick!
Really nice colours. What do you think of painter? I want to give it a try sometime.
The face looks cool with the purple shadows
and red nose and hair. The stomach part
confuses me a bit with the lighting and
the way it disapears in the dark(since the arms fades away. Othervise from that it's
cool. Nice to see you try out different styles

I like it. Nice colors. I think it needs a
little more excitement on the right side.
May be a hint of that orange that's in the
hair. Otherwise, it looks really good to me.

micke - thx. Well, if Painter was a bit faster I would kick Photoshop out the window! I'm still too new to Painter that I would rely on doing commercial stuff in it, but I really really like it. I think that Painter is a bit slow to work in and I first saw that as a flaw, but now I rather think its a strength (believe it or not) since now I have far more time to decide where to put the strokes. I think my pictures are a bit more 'thought' now...
agent - yes, You're absolutly right. I didn't really know what to paint when I started this...

I like it Boom! Very soft and painterly.
Damn, I really have to put more time decyphering Painter's 'interface-from-hell' (second only to that of Maya ). |

Psionic - thx.
Frost - thx. Yeah..hehe.. Kinda forgot all about Maya's totally wacked up interface... That program takes the prize for stupid UI... Seriously I would really like to see what you could get out of Painter.. Give it a try....come on....you can do it....
