Hi guys.

This is Legolas, an elf from the Lord of the rings trilogy.
Anyways, is the anatomy right? that's what i want to know. Some other feedback would be nice too.
See you. |

Ya, I agree, atually I am reading Lord of The Rings right now (I'm 15) and I see the elves as being much thinner, his neck is too thick and maybe put some more life into his hair, it looks a little stringy. But I like it for the most part!

I really liked the lord of the rings.
Elves are like a more evoluted human being. They are cute and gracefull, the face look to much like a tough guy, and the eyes are too big.
Any way your drawing is ok. I mean its just that I dont think elves look like that.

You learn and get better at each draw you do. So persevere and one day you will draw like dhabih. |

The first thing i do when i draw male elfs is that i first draw a female and then add male caracteristics to it. Cause in most cases male elfs looks a bit like a female so they will look more beautyful/graceful. (As a male that feels a bit degrading )
I dont think you want to read this but ill write anyway just to annoy you
I dont know if this was a quickie or you spend much time on it as i have'nt seen much of your work. But i think you have to practice on drawing mouths, eyes and a bit on shading.
You'll propably kick my ass next hype for that
Cya man and keep up the good work

Thanks everybody.. i know the face isn't beautiful enough to be an elf but i'll fix that on my next elf portrait.
SporQ: i've never seen legolas illustrated with black hair, only blonde... actually, i've never seen an elf with black hair.. maybe dark-elves (?).
Exo: yup, it's a real quick one... maybe half an hour or twnty minutes.. that's quick for me.
and yes, i'll kick your ass! |

hey here it is! Anyway, since i did this for your post, i'm post it here. Thanks for reminding me about those great characters.
Elves have always been very inhuman to me. They do have human traits but they are immortal and have lived entirely different than people have.
