Hey,
I'm currently working my way through Betty Edward's "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" and I found it extremely helpful in improving my drawing. The problem is that I'm coming closer and closer to finishing it and I wonder what book I should get next. I had a look at the books list in the FAQ and while many of these books sounded interesting I'm not sure which one makes the most sense to get now. About a third of the books listed are out of print by the way.
Now could anyone give me some advice on which book to get now ?
Thanks a lot

It all depends what you want out of it.
I think that you should buy a couple of anatomy books and study the anatomy as in depth as you like. I have the Bridgman books. I think they're pretty good. At the same time I think you should do some figure drawing.
Cheers.

Well I already have the Bridgman (The guide to drawing from live). I think I'm going to get the Hogart book about drawing clothes on people, I think that's where I need to improve my drawings. I dunno why I even asked that question it was pretty stupid I guess . |

Sounds good, I think I'm going to get it. And I'll promise I'll proceed just like in "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain": First doing the sketches then reading on
Thanks for the hint
