Sorry, if all these german brabbling confuses you, but that's only smalltalk as the most posting here seems to be from my hometown ...what a coincidence - but anyone is welcomed to comment and make suggestions .
Hi, welche Skizze meinst Du denn? Die 2te ist eigentlich die Erste, sprich die Aktuelle ist die Erste .
brigens werde ich wohl ber die Outlines malen, soda ich die Nase und neue Details darber lsen werde .
Mal sehen! |

Yes I'm studying at the Design Factory ([urlhttp://www.design-factory.de[/url]) 2nd semestre. I'll graduate as media-designer, but that's only as a platform to get a start. I'll later try to work as an illustrator and conceptor for games or in the movie industry.
Unfortunately I am a newbie to digital arts (started with Photoshop/Illustrator last year) .

Well, what a pitty I hope you'll soon get bored again to finish the job , it looks promising.
Hi Apo, feel free to join little Hamburg in the Forums - and yes we should meet somewhere - I had nice e-conversations with Xoco, and we all want to meet somwhere in december. But just tell me where you hang around at weekends and maybe we can arrange sth .
Tomorow I'll have the time to go over the troopergirl myself |

[n'abend] Solitaire:
thx, sounds nice. so in case we would arrange a meeting, how many of us could come? december sounds doable, to me personally.
dont know if its productive to just hang around, it could be a bit more art related though *g*
any suggestions for an appropriate hideout?
well anyway, we should keep in touch with each another.. [bis denn]!

Hmm... I dunno if I'm gonna work on mine anymore either. Mainly because I have a lot of school/personal things to do. I'll play around with it when I have time, but I thought you'd like to see what I had done so far since it might not go any farther than this

Woooow...damn Jezebell, that style kicks ass - I like the glowing parts, and the colorpicks are good as well. But it's seem, that your point of weakness are noses (I know that the lineart doesn't give much detail on the nose,but...).
Today I have time to begin with her - hope to finish her, and move on to another project . |

Thanks Solitaire!
Acutally I lied when I said I wouldn't be working on it because I've found that I can't stop working on it, hehe. But I'm a really slow worker - unlike all the people able to whip out something really good in 30 minutes, I'm more likely to whip out something mediocre in 30 hours ^_^
I will work on fleshing out the nose some more. She's looking kinda like one of those pug dogs right now I guess

Well, you're not the only one - I should change my nick into slug ...
I started 30 min ago and the only thing I did was changing the Outlines to midgrey and defined some areas I plan to draw in the same layer or colour (i.e. skinparts). While typing I am reasoning which haircolour to chose - but I think I'll give her a blond tone (as always :rolleyes .
And I'll try to make a background (premiere )
Well I think I'll need more time for this one than for Feng's babe ( about 10 hours:embarassed: )...
Hey I tried visiting your site, but your art sections didn't load . |

Oh yeah... my site's not up yet. I should prolly take it off my sig since more than likely people will be trying to go to my site and get very annoyed when nothing is there :>
As long as your getting things done that you're proud of, I don't think it matters how long it takes you. Not like you're getting paid
Instead of blonde (like always) why don't you go for a silver shade? Still a light color but it might throw you off from your usual routine. Or you could go for a red head, red heads are a fiesty little bunch!

Hey Jez, by examining your pic, I recognized, that I made some mistakes with her face; that's why the nose turned out that bad (wasn't your fault, you followed the lines)....
look here
ah, and thanx for correcting me

Cool beans. Thanks Sol. I will see about fixing it up!
By the way, do you mind if I alter a couple of things as I color? I don't want to offend you or anything. You can probably tell that I changed the hair a bit from the original, but I was also thinking of leaving the padded part off her chest in my colored version. If it bothers you just let me know and I will leave it on there.
That's really the only part I had intended on changing.

hehe, didn't catch what yoou mean with beans, but...
It's amazing that there's s.o. who wants to play with sth. I've done .
That's why I love this board - you learn a lot and you have the possibility to get new perspectives and inspirations even of your own works .
So there's no problem to change whatever you want. Someday I'll have time to set up my site, and I hope to I can take your's (and other's) version(s) of her for a demonstration on how different people's reflections on one artwork could be.

hey, that's an interesting way to color, but I think some parts are in need of more depth.
