Here's my latest work...

Can s.o. tell me how I get such a good quality lineart Feng did.
I had to scan this one and my pen has been quite thick.
Tracing and cleaning in Illustrator would take too long....
But anyways if s.o. feels like colouring it - I have no clue yet which colours to take and stuff...

grab a big big psd.file here

Moin Solitarire,

Solitaire, this line drawing looks very clean. Don't worry about it. There's no need to go into illustrator...that's a total over-kill.

My lines aren't that clean at all (as compared to comics). Doing perfect lines take too much time, i don't have the patience for that.

Keep it up....looking good...

But where is her right arm? is it well hidden under her hair?

Ist ja echt lustig hier, wie immer mehr Hamburger ins Forum strmen.
Ich bin natrlich auch von Geburt an waschechter Hamburger *g*.
Eckhart: der Bayer is echt gut.

This image is looking really good as I start at the feet and work my way up. Her pose is very defiant and I love the details you've put into her outfit. However, you sort of lose me at the face. Everything else is so detailed with all these tiny lines, grooves, etc.. and suddenly you reach her head and it's sorta flat. I would do a little more with her hair... give it some definition.

can't you see the hand next to the blaster? You should grab the big one to recognize the details (and do a nice guest colour job)

Wieso eigentlich so viele Hamburger - das iss ja verrckt!

Hi Solitaire
(I doing this one in English in fear of beeing thrown out). I was born in Bremen and moved to HH four years ago. I'm now living in Altona (direkt am Bahnhof).
We should meet here in Hamburg sometime. Maybe we could learn from each other.

Yeah, I like the style you're going with on the second head more than the first. But the weight on the first looks much better. Maybe darken up your lines a bit, or throw some goggles on her head or give her hair some colored streaks... just something to give it more weight. I think it will help a whole lot once you do that

Just began with colouring her....but...

I figured out that I have to do without the outlines when colouring her as despite Vortx saying the outlines seem to be clean enough.

- They aren't! So I have to paint over the outlines or do a hell of a work in Illustrator .

Cool - yes the blueish leather is looking fine to me too ...
As it's to the Outlines...I used the wrong type of paper and pen (lousy beginner ).

keep up - I know it's hard to bear with all these details and the bad lineart, but I am sure some of you guys here could make a great artwork out of her..

I have to hurry with my version - damn I am too slow...call me a slug
