Made a 3d head tonight and toyed around with trying to make facial expressions for the first time. Tell me whatcha think

Well, I wish I had time to try these things. But, why are you working in low poly? Do you make game grapichs?
The reason I am asking is showing of very well in picture number 2. I think we both can agree on he looks rather silly with that smile, and then your texture shaddow making a visual illusion of his mouth pointing down.
If this was a highrez polymodel the shadwo there would be made by the light because you buildt the wrinkel in the mesh. And if he was smiling, that wrinkel would show off more natural.
So maybe the shadow should go..or make it lighter.
other then that...keep it up and make a while head, eyes, ears, eyelids, hair.

It's a game model that's why it's low polygon, I finished putting eyes and stuff on it and i'm working on a intricate bone system for the whole face that's easy to use, i'll try and match it to some voice and post an avi later |

His eyes seem to be very far apart, and very small. But the expressions look pretty good. Except for what akira_x said about the mouth...
