thanks for the feedback.
acctually i spent quite alot of time studing anatomy, borowing books from the library and so on
and if you look at this image there is two really big errors that i've made
1. his head is way to big. the head of a male is aprox. 1/7 of the body and his head is 1/5.
2. if you look at the body and excluding the head and the arms. then the the legs will then be 2/3 of the rest of the body. and the torso (im not shure if i'm using the right word here.) is 1/3. ive drawn the torso as if it was 1/3 as he stands right now, with his back bent, so if he straightens out his toros will be about 1/2 of his body..
and about that big shoulder thing, its supposed to be the arm of his jacket flying in the wind (but when i look at it now it looks more like a gigantic role of tube :/ ).
any comments on my analsys of my own misstakes?

I think it has potential.
It could be really cool if you fix the anatomy..
Also, make it look like if he's doing something, walking is the first thing that comes into my mind.
that's all i can think of know. |

Since it is suppose to be blowing you could check out how the cloth are suppose to act
in wind. Wich direction is the wind blowing..I think the main problem is how the
clothing makes the anatomy look weird. Study folds. It's not the anatomy that's the big
problem.

thanks for the replies guys.
tyron, i would be very glad if you could tell me what anatomy parts you want to fix.
micke, i dont like drawing clothes, because the dont behave the way i want. :P and i think your probably right when you say that the clothes and the anatomy errors are connected. thanks alot
and here is a small update.

Hiya.
mm.. it's getting good zthee.
i'm not very good at anatmoy and stuff, but he looks like a dwarf, maybe that's what you wanted it to look like.
I see that you've fixed the clothes, but shouldn't the hair be acting the same way?
the sky could use some clouds too, but i'm just complaining, sorry =)
keep it up! |
