Fellow Artists,
I'm interested in learning to ink better, what pens to use, etc, if anyone has a site with a tutorial or any advice it would help, thanks.

Personally I think that you should buy a good book on inking. I have looked around the web and there sin't much on the subject. I know my methods are a little out there being that I use a technical pens for my inking ...seems like a lot of pros use quel pens ...but the most I ever learned about inking came from a book that showed me how to apply light and shadow values using diffrent techniques with the pen . Then I used to get like comic book pages that had not been inked and ink them myself...good practice..also doing loose life drawing pen scetches are very useful for getting real lighting and perspective. |

I don't know if this will be useful, i found this site ont the net http://www.nidlink.com/~dempsey/inking_survey/answers.html where a lot of comic artists explain which tools (brushes, pens, inks, etc...) they use to ink, and some tips to ink.
This wasn't much useful to me since i can't find those things in Barcelona (haven't really looked much though ), but i guess you shouldn't have any problems finding them.
Hope this helps.
