Hmm... smudgy ears. I dont really see that... but I dont doubt that its possible. Its pretty hard to draw long elf ears when all you have to base it on is normal human ears. As for the eyes, yeah, guess so... dunno what tho. I think the problem is more on the left eye (right eye in the picture), but i can't tell what it is. Back to the ol drawing board....

man, the skin is so good around her lips and nose but the eyes just put me off for somereason. Especially the left eye, its seems to be popping half out of its socket |

Darkynz, great picture, she's cute.
I think the eye problem has to do with a size and placement issue. The left one is a lot larger than the right, more so than would normally occur in a perspective.
Another thing you could do is start the eyebrows further apart, that may be one of the things making her look like a guy. Also one thing that would make her look more feminine is a smaller nose bridge, cure it a little more and maybe make the bridge narrower. One thing that distinguishes male faces from female is the nose. Men's noses are broader and generally larger because they need more oxygen. Has to do with hunting or something.
Anyway thats my 2 cents

The headpiece and armour look really nice! How'd you do it? 1 pixel airbrush zoomed in?

No, I wouldn't say I went in pixel for pixel. Basically just a lot of dodging and burning all around. Yeah, I know, most people seem to hate dodge-burn users, but if I want a pic to look like a real painting i'll go and actually paint, with the computer I'm going for a more colorful, smooth style.

Hi all. I'm sure probably noone remembers this, but a few months ago I posted an image of an elven princess and a lotta people noticed a lot of flaws on it, which is what I wanted, so now I finally went back and redid the whole bloody thing. Hopefully its at least decent now. But still, any more feedback would be greatly appreciated, as I really hope someday to get good at this kinda stuff.
Oh yeah, I've been told she looks too masculine by some friends, apparently something about the structure of her face. Any suggestions? (no, I'm not gonna give her longer hair just to make her look more femenine)

This would look about 20 times cooler if you went back and cast a blue light across her face. Seems like with all that blue around her, something should be reflecting off her skin.
At least that's what I think

Yeah, I've been considering adding blue light on her face for some time now, but every time I attempt it something just doesn't look right about it, perhaps because on her face blue comes out to bright, but in the background its a really dark blue, or something. Dunno. I'm still workin on that tho, not gonna give up just yet.
