Good start, I think you'll find most people will tell you to do more before asking for crit.

Hi hawkswift,
I agree with Lukias that it seems to be a good start. Nice to see that you didn't let yourself be bogged up with details at this early stage. I think it can and will be a very fine portrait if you continue on concentrating on the major forms and colors at the early stages, and apparantly you have done so.
