woo hoo! hehe awsome, people got my point! hehe and agreed! thanks guys, im glad im not the only one.
For all those people who replied to my sword thank yoooou! hehe the little strings actually DID have a purpose in my mind, which was to channel the electric/magical current to the blade... and its not like its shoe laces guys, dey aint gonna break :) after i look at this, i dont like my actual blade blade part, so im gonna redo it... and yeah the blade was supposed to be black, and yeah its coloured see? purple stone? :)
Kat: i love you sword, i think you should use the same shading technique on the handle so that it looks round too. hmmm shiny, AWSOME!
jez, cool stuff! the way i get gold colours is usually to start with a dark brown or reddish brown, then use screen over it with a yellow gold colour where highlights would be then screen another brighter almost whote yellow for a few select shiny brights and VOILA a shiny gold, to make it more wares i guess a texture overlay could do that with maybe a black/brown colour :) hope that helps, i love you sword design is sooo cool WRATH OF THE ANGEL! i wanna see the wings done, SO DAMN COOL!
Paul or... as you all know him, CD hehe, i know this is kinda your forte so :) i know your sword design would be cool. hehe flesh hooks YEAH YEAH hehe just make it shiny now!
empyrios haha! i agree v8 sucks... too... pulpy eww! cool concept, laughed my ass off :)
thanks for replying :) more swords! yay fun! and cures for boredom and easy! :) bring back memories of childhood :) or... if your still there, help us old folk be nostalgic :)
-Lisa
p.s whoa there is a maximum of smilies i can use? weird... *disables them* |

post 35.
swords the fad of the week huh? last week it was dragons. i liked that.
cool design darkmoon. i would like a bigger grip though, i think it would look great as a dagger design, not a sword. same goes for your last blades jenn and chaotic.
jezebel, the shoulders of your golder figure looks a bit funny, but work with it, might turn out really cool!
i don't know about the girl thing, i think it's just jenn replies to lots of people's posts (or icq, irc, etc) and those people reply to hers. it happens. networking, i think it's called.

nice handle klaivu, the edge looks too plastic/stoney though.

AprilYSH: do you mean about it having a bigger handle as well? well I don't know how else to make a heavenly looking sword. I was going for something a little exotic.
why daggers?
yeah, networking. I don't understand it though. pretty disguisting the results you get though.
klaivu: looks like Cloud's sword from FF7 sorta. well it seems to fit the theme. you know you wouldn't need that much to make it practical. I suppose even if the blade went down into the handle it would be too thin, but I guess it just needs a thicker handle then. (THICKER HANDLES FOR EVERYONE! )
jezebel: oh yeah, I forgot to comment on the golden woman. her colar bone isn't very recognizable from her shoulders, maybe a little more shading farther down. also, the arm to our right looks like it's defined better. (although the shoulder is still way too far out) |

Klaivu I really liked your bone handle sword there that was very cool...you should put a wood table background behind it..maybe a little blood and guts for detail and caste a little shadow slightly below the blade to give it dimension.....anyways good work...ohh and good job on the sword darkmoon it'll get there...ohh and I seen your pic on the other post..wow your way hot..sorry had to do it

post 43. lets head for the 50!
klaivu:
your first sword you posted looks really cool although I dont understand what that little hole is for? if you want to keep that you should probably change its form so it doesnt look as perfect.

klaivu, is that modelled or painted? looks real a nice blade instead of a garrote.
chaotic, i meant the blade design would be great as a dagger
