Very cool. Love the lighting. Is this a colored pencil sketch or did you get the roughness in PhotoShop (assuming that's what you used). The "pondering" mood he seems to be enveloped in is quite effective, too. Was there a theme to go along with this piece?

I like your new style now Agent44. Very refreshing looking. I'm glad you didn't listen to me and stuck with the pencils. Looks pretty cool. Although the hat looks neat, but it doesn't really work with the character.

To be frank, it looks a lot like some gay-pictures drawn by finnish gay-artist Tom of Finland... But it looks ok.

Actually, my two cents worth, with no disrespect to anyone elses opinions ,

...is that I think the contrast between the hat and the gear is a fine compliment. You've established a great feel for the character, agent44. Along with that, you've established a good contrast between the shoulder pads, knee pads and particularly the feet (r.a. reflective light) with the as-yet-unseen surrounding environment. My only suggestion would be to beef up his pecks a tad more to compliment his shoudlers. But then again...

I think Francis is on to something there. If that hat was bigger (the brim that is) it would look cooler. Would look alot like another character. Can't think of the name.. Chakkan or something? Had a video game on Genesis and is coming out with one on Dreamcast.
