Here is a photoshop/wacom pic I did a long time ago. I just wanted to post again to see what some of the newer guys think, and older guys if you never saw it. It's an Imperial Royal Guard from Star Wars. I used a pic just for the head, the rest I did on my on with lots of help from these forums actually. I also changed the background to white from my old version.

looks really nice.....
speciell since i'm a fan of starwars...
i think i have seen it before, but i don't know....
it really inspired me..... will do a new pic when i get home from school...

| umm, he seems to float a couple of inches off the ground... it's the way the folds interact with the ground and the shadow itself... it seems to get lighter again at the base of the cloak... |

I think he is too slim, but nice colouring although I agree with Turbo on the folds.
I am also a warsie - I painted Mara Jade accompanied by Stormtroopers in oil, but too big to put it onto my scanner  ...
later I found out that one of he comic books used a similar composition  |

| He is a bit slim and seems to float, but the Helmet rendering is really good. And I like the overall texture of the picture. I think if you would add more shadow beneath him, he wouldn't seem to be floating. |

Hi, chrisk82!
I like this one. She's a mystery. 
I think that she is not too slim. I guess that this is woman, isn't she? Hope I guessed right. If this is woman she doesn't look too slim. But if this is man so then he looks a bit slim and too tall. Interesting.
But my opinion is that she is woman and she isn't too slim.
I agree the point that looks like she is floating. You should have to use darker shadow under her.
