The grey one is spoken for (my mom named him trente) I was thinking about Ky for the black one.. but I really need some help.. anyone know a good name for a black kitty cat?

My friends cat is called "Kitty, kitty". Based on the sole premise that if it ever runs away from home, at least everyone will know it's name.

'Course we all call the silly little vermin Satan's Fightin' KKK (Krazy Kitty Kitty) but that's an entirely different story regarding my friends and the naming of a scizophrenic black cat that likes to run head long into walls, nibble on your toes, and eat mint ice cream.

My black kitty is named Azrael Fits him very nicely.

I'd say Jinx, Saturn, Gizmo, Genghis (was going to name my kitty that, but Azrael fits him better)... Or why not Snowball, after the cat in Simpsons?

Do what I did, go here: Petnames - you'll find LOTS of names here.

Though admittedly, in the end, I gave my cat the name I've /always/ wanted for my cat, not something I found there But it can be good help.

SO cute kitties, by the way! The black one almost looks like my Azrael did when he was smaller (though he's got longer fur).

There's nothing better than cats. Nothing.

(edit 1) Added the link
(edit 2) Added a name

Pepper if it's a girl.

Orphan Bob if it's a boy.

On a side note, I've noticed that you look the like the very attractive female version of me.

Give cats names they understand.

Mowr
Rawr
Meow
Maw
Mrap
Rrr
Awr
Arawr

Or you can go for something descriptive :

Autosupportive Self-Cleaning Household Accessory
Furry Little Critter Of Doom
Housetiger
Killer Furball 2000
Purrmachine
Magic Living Carpet
Cuddle-o-matic
Etc...

Clipper & Zippo for twins

TWAT for a girl cat

these are my suggestions, for these I am unashamed, I am proud of my being and the thoughts therein.

My kitties are Kiwi, Mango, Goober and Psychotic Deranged Weirdo Kitty (Psycho). Two dogs are Moose and Ginger.

I've also had kitties named Shakespeare, Tai Chi, Bootsie, Whiskers, Katrina, and so many others I can't possibly list them all.

Had some dogs named GooberHead, Peanut, Tasha, Lightning, Stanley...

Hmm... too many animals ^_^

. . . hehe, Ivey. You make it sound like my input wouldn't be worth anything if you are deciding not based on anyone's input

On yours:

Lucid: for me this can only describe the cats eyes, or just a very alert personality. Shortens to "Luce" which is cute and doesnt' rhyme with many other words other than 'loose' . . . which is good. You could then call him Lucid the Lunatic and hope he breeds geniuses!

Random: I suspect he's unpredictable? If so, its a good name. It doesn't have a good one syllable shortening, but I'm sure yo'ud end up calling him Randy. Or you might not, considering thats a mans name and not so cute

Hmm, maybe you should tell your friends there is more to a name than whether it 'sounds good' . . . of those two, I think you'd be happier with Lucid. If its female, Lucilla is always a possibility . . . But I'd decide before you go insane . . . I've had two pets in my lifetime and between the two, our family went through upwards of 600 names weighing pros and cons. Our white german shepherd got the name 'Cleopatra' and the cat which we still have got the name 'Pussy-Willow' shortened to 'Willow'.

Naming is fun. Corporate identity naming is fun too.

white german shepherd? I suppose it is a dog, but the typical german shepherd is black and brown, isn't it?

Right, Rag. There is also a breed that is exactly the same, but white. I never liked the colouring of the normal german shepherd and I remember how delighted I was when my parents showed my brother and I the little white pups that were german shepherds. We were 10 and that little pup we picked out turned into a big dog for a 10 year old to walk Cleo also had a problem with peeing (a little) whenever she was excited.
