I have also a french version of photoshop 5.5 and when i need it to show the filters in english, i usually move a file called "tw10428.dat". it's the file containing the french traduction tags... i dont know if the german traduction file is called exactly the same, but you can have a look, and see.

Good luck.

Ps 6 is great! I heard a few people whining about the brush palette being moved into the options menu but if you use the quick keys nameley '[' and ']' you can scroll though the brush palette without moving the mouse/pen.

As far as I know (from what I've used) PS 6 is same as 5.5b but with a whole shit load of benifits.....Folders in layers palette, new text editing it's all good BABY!

Speaking of Photoshop...
im going nuts with mine right now!

Ive got a pic due in a couple of hours for a wee job im just trying out for and well i cant add more frickin layers!

I didnt even know there was a limit to how many layers you could have. I bet its something really simple for me to change too but since ive never encountered this before i have no clue what to do.
Anyone know how to help?

*me pulls out hair*

*glues it back in place*

*Uhh* (stabs heart with pencil). Not that I have anything really against the GIMP. It is perfect for most people. But I never found it to be worth the learning curve, and Xwindows in Linux gives me a headache.
