After scraping enough money together (hey, 15 year olds don't make that much!), I finally bought a Wacom tablet (A5 intuos)

Anyway, here's the my first digital pic I actually bothered long enough with to finish.

Any crits?

gotta say that this is quite good for a 15 year old.

maybe his nose and ears are a bit weird.

Nice work, I like it. You should work on the left ear, I'm not sure about the perspective.

Wow... Good thing I decided to check the thread another time

Yup, it's the guy from DBZ (Piccolo)
Uhm, would that be his left ear, or the ear you see to the left?

Very nice, Cougar. Is this Piccolo's school picture? ...cause he looks really young and the angle of the head is similar to a school portrait

I see you've completly covered the original linework and the shading is crisp! Excellent! You've also captured the tricky DBZ facial proportions, bonus points for that.

Cool, but his nose looks 2D and I'd add some texture to his face. He's smooth.

Here's something I did when I was 15 I know I know it's unproportional, but hey!

If the link doesn't work here he is... http://www.majik3d.org/~kaput/2d/2dd5.jpg
