I did some experimenting. I wanted the mimic the mood of E.V.E., without outright copying Liquids style.

So how is the "shiny" looking? and the light and glares? I don't use them much, so my control over them is sketchy. Are they overdone? Is the only white, not working?


I wonder if anyone will reply?

nice pic
the black shading lines you have going there are ruining things a bit though, try using color for the shading. I realize you were aiming for more of the comic coloring style with black outlines and stuff, but that shading technique just isn't working IMO.
Also, her uh.. crotch, seems to be a bit too high. And her left foot is insanely huge, I'm not too familiar with the character though, so maybe thats the way its supposed to be..

I really like this pic though, hope to see it pollished up a bit.
