hey, had heard about this forum for a long time, but this is my first post... some people with long shadows in here

in any case, i thought about what image i should first put up, and i picked this one:

it's almost a year old, it's hastily mirrored, but whenever people stop by my homepage they always seem to respond most to this design...btw, i've just gotten into doing low poly game character/plugin models, so i guess this guy might make it into q3 some day... my only currently released model is <a href="">boomer</a>...

thoughts? oh yeah, i'm guessing many of you may very well be interested in coloring this beastie. be my guest. i'll post some digital stuff later on i guess.

Hi there. Welcome to the forum!

First off, neat pic. I'm not too much into coloring, but I think if you cleaned up your lines a bit you'd get a lot more people interested. (if you drew a half nekkid chick, you'd get a lot more people coloring it too. )

The mirroring does kind of stand out, but you're obviously aware of this. Just curious, why'd you do it? (Why, for god's sake? Why?!?!@!)*@^ Erm. Ahem. 'Scuse me.) Was it just too asymmetrical?

well, hmmm... i believe i mirrored it because i hadnt finished drawing the left side and i was pressed for time--had to get it to a scanner the image was a concept for a character in a q3 TC that I left shortly after joining, but not before I had come up with this fellow. like i said, it's an old pic but i chose it as my first to show 'round here because for whatever reason people do seem to like it a lot... i can understand people not wanting to color it; i guess i put it up more for just people to look at...hurm....

was done with design markers.. i havent shown any digital yet, so i s'pose i'm working up to it
