Hi all,

I dont post very often...I m very slow at drawing.:d

I applied the opacity technique I learn on this forum and here the almost finished results.

I have to work a bit on his hair and his clothe.

The original size of the painting is 950 x1675 x 118 pixels.

I drew it in photoshop with the reference picture laying on my desk...By eyes Only! No paint over!!!

Comments & critics welcome!

Impressive, though the only hitch is....and you must be aware, that it...doesn't really look like her...

Still though mate, she's looking classy

Hi Vracky, thos is some very nice work! However I'm not sure where you get the third pixel resolution from. =) (dpi? if so, how relevant is that?=)

Where in Quebec are you?

Yes.This is a real portrait. You works like me becouse the eyes are the best of the pic.
I do the same.I work eyes more than another cos are 80% of the face.

But...There is always a but.
I think you might change the eyes to really look like her.Is an advice.
you choose.
There is always a person who tell you "Natalie Portman?...Yes,But she doesnt look like her.there is something strange in...Yeah her eyes." I hate this.Didnt you?

Nice. I really like that pic. It looks like her enough, just something elusive that separates them... although I like the girl in your painting better than the original anyway...

Thanks Ramiranda for your comments,

I aggree with you that the eyes are the most important parts that define a person.

I dunno at this time if I ll change again his eyes, Cause I m working on this picture since this summer. I plan to just retouch his hair.

suis aussi de tr!!! ll keep anglish writing on this forum.
The world is very little!!!
Thanks for you kind of words!

Thanks aNoah,
I pretty satified with it, I aggree with you too, It looks like her enough...since I m not a professional figure painter like I wrote before.

Thanks eetu,
I learn on this forum (from a post of Danny, Spooge, Rhinaldo, Dont remember)that the best technique is never pick the color on the drawing. Always pick from the color picker. It a very good advise!

Fricken awsome eyes and those lips mmm mmm good.

Her left eyebrow goes down her nose try to make it look more like a shadow.

Also that hair strand, mask it out and then paint it so you get a more flowing strand.

If you did that, then something about the lighting makes it look a little crooked.

Besides that I agree with Lukias

F*#k me gently. Man she's hot.

Oh wow! This is awesome. I loved the skin tones and the eyes, they look just great. Couple of small comments, her right eye is too circular and needs to be more elliptical and her ear is too small/squished. Look at the reference photo, then yours, look at how long the vertical line is on the back of the jawbone, you can tell that the ear is too small.

very nice.

Lukias,

I love this kind of humor! Thanks for the definition!

Skeezer,
thanks for your comments,

Loukus, maybe this winter!

later, I reworked his eyes and the jaw bone line a bit! Thanks!

Here the final version!

Thanks all
