Been working on this at work during my break [my lunch break for those of you who complain i never spend enough time on it. I spent about an hour on this crappy coloring].. It sucks but it should give you all an idea what it looks like..
Thanks SurferBoi & Hyperion for the pics.

Hehe
Spooge-Demon: Thanks.. I will try that. I am curently redrawing the sword on larger paper as that scanned image is only about 5inches high.
Yeh I am planning to make the sword look more used and so on grips around the handle and yada yada
I am also working on the character that holds this beast..
As for looking like a butchers knife... Well maybe thats what its used for [/maniacal laugh]
3D Cafe.. Ages ago otherwise its not me.

there is a cool company that makes battle ready swords....... kris cuttlery.... it hink they have an url : www.kriscuttlery.com this is somewhat unrelated, but they do have really nice swords for sale. the craftsmanship is wonderful, the designs are great, and the steel they use to make them would make any samurai proud to fight with on...they make medival swords, chinese, japanese, filipino and other blades of different regions. worth a look..... have fun,. |

I like the original one on the left better, just the style of it. But it's coming along well.
Not to nitpick, but given the proportions of it, it looks more like a dagger. or short sword at best.
