Me likes too. Very stylish. The background is somewhat disturbing though. It's too bright. Her fingers kinda blend to it and are little difficult to discern.
I'd like to see some more of this style from you. |

Nice one. Very stylish! I don't like the background. A flat tone and a little darker would do the character more justice. The head also doesn't appear quite a nicely modelled as the arms/body. You might also get better result with a more defined lightsource. Right now it looks as if there are no strong lightsource but rather quite a few lights all over...
just a few thoughts....

I really like this, nice design and very clean coloring. The only part that bothers me just a little bit is the shading around the mouth/jaw. Looks a big flat to me.

Romb: glad your like it, and ive changed the bg now and enhanced the outlines, gives it a more stylish look and as you said doesnt blend as much as before.
b00m: i removed the bg, didnt like it either =) ill go with a more dramatic light setting next time, and see if that help. im thinking of adding maybe a blue light coming from below to make it slightly more interesting.
suma: mouth/jaw issue: i think it hard to add any details there in that perspective, got any ideas?
eclipse: tnx, that site is awesome! great inspiration, got any more? |

Sorry, but I actually prefered the original version.
As for the lower-face area, usually you find that the values on a face darken the further down the face you go since the area from the nose to the chin tends to angle inwards compared to the upper part of the face.
It looks like a sharp/flat area which is actually angling -outwards- from the line of the face. But it is a charicature so that might be cool. Although I think the edges around the bottom of the jaw could do from a little bit of shading reguardless, just to stop it looking so flat.
