why do think that faust. thousands of years ago about 30 men wrote what god told them to write over a period of 4000 years. prophocies still coming true today help to prove that the bible is not bullshit. why is christianity the only religion that is looked down upon and caste out of todays society and public places. this country founded on this religion. people are scared of the truth faust. the only religion that is alienated around the world is christianity and the reason for that is because satan know that it is true and uses human beings to distroy it. the fastest growing "religion" is christianity even though it is illegal in 80% of the world. i dont know about you Faust but i know what im talking about.

cable you might use christian morals as the basis of your own philosophy, so your personal beliefes may not be a "religion;"
christianity on the other hand is in fact a religion.

i think (for the most part) the reason christianity is look down upon, has something to do with the way the religion has treated people of other faiths throughout the years. and it doesnt help anything that christians dont feel like their churches did anything wrong and least of all that they should have to appoligize for it.

more things i would like to point out:
satan means adversary in hebrew, satan isnt a person its an adj.
in the bible God is a more destructive force than "the fallen cherub," prove me wrong.
in pagan religions lucifer is the sun god.

the prophocies in the bible are vague and subject to many translations. you can prove or disprove just about anything using the bible

people will believe anything and go to great lengths to believe in something that defies common sense and logic. the shroud of turin for example: it is physically impossible that a human being made that imprint. the mans head would have to have been a fraction of the width of what was average for a normale male adult.
if you have ever skinned a model and have seen a pic of the shroud of turin, you know what i am talking about. yet even though it is clearly a fake, it doesnt stop people from believing.

placing faith in jesus and god, is like placing faith in thor and odin; its all mythology....

hmm.. it's stupid to fight over topic as this. church have been wrong many times in past 2000 (or more) year. like they almost killed that guy who said that earth is spinning around the sun. i think (not sure) that they said that world is flat. they killed thousands of innosent people cause they were whiches and otherwise made deal with satan. now days you may do whatever you like as long as it doesn't bother you'r neighbor. And so should do all those christian hippies. I believe in technology. It's impossible for me to believe in bible cause it says that world was created in 7 day (When there have been found 10,000 year old animals that lived before human).
And what about satan? Yes, maybe he is evil, but what will happen to this world without evil? People would not see difference betwean evil and good. Everything would see same, i could even say boring. That's what heaven is. Place that is extreamly boring. where you fly on you'r wings and live happily (I couldn't live like that). And hell? Well, if you always in pain i must say you can't get bored, you'r brains would be always in that pain. I personaly think that there should be good and evil, and that they both should balance each other.
Church says that having sex is bad. Why? Cause human should give all his love to god? Well that's insane. Where will all childs come then? When you marry in church priest says that it's holy event and that god bless it, but still priest can't marry? Why? Cause they love god. Im not saing that it's bad, but it's sad when you believe in god so much, but will never get anything. And even if you get, it's something that some bum under bridge who have never heard about god will get too. It doesn't matter if you believe in god or not, result is same.

thanks for the info faith but to tell you truth the pastor that i listen to tell me that christianity in fact is not religion. chatholic is religion. im not quite sure why its that way its just taught that way. lucifer "satan" can be an adj but when the bible is talking about "satan" it speaks about the fallen angel that ways lucifer. lucifer the angel that faught God for the thrown and complete control. thus he was cast out of heaven. lucifer along with all his followers "fallen angels", "demons" were cast onto the earth for a for disobedience and mutiny.
many other religions may see lucifer as the sun god but in heaven he was the top angel and was supposudle the most beautiful angel. i can see how people might see him as as the sun god. hey I enjoy talking about this. not argueing it. yes some of the passages in the are very vegue.

Genma: i think you have chatholics mixed up with christianity. its ok for a priest to marry if your christian. chatholics say that if your a priest or nun that you may not marry. the christian "religion" does not say that sex is bad. the bible says that premarritual sex is bad. (sex befor marriage)
God created sex as a special gift for the pleasure for two people for there life time.

here is a small theory I have about hell (if it exists)

Souls have to exist if there is a heaven and hell, and if they exist they must have some mass and chemical composition. If lots of souls got to hell (and I assure you they probably do) they must fill up hell. But first they must get to hell, but how? Where do they get the energy to go there from or how does hell draw them there? If hell fills up with souls then it must expand, as it houses all of the people who have been bad, and in the history of the earth there have been a lot of bad people. So if hell exists then where the bloody hell is it?

Well, really, the bible is just a watered-down version of 10,000 year old Sumerian epics that were about extraterrestrials, anyway. These writings were "creatively" mis-translated, intentionally altered, or otherwise manipulated by each hand they fell into. Suffice it to say, 10,000 years is a very long time.

daveT: i think that hell is like in another part of the universe. if the universe if ever expanding then there will always be enough room for the "bad" people. when we die i think that the soul goes to another part of the universe calleb heaven where God reigns but then you go through a judgment where you have to pass god's judgment if you excepted jesus as your savior or not then if you didn't you are sent hell (yet another part of the universe).

I think i remember I saw a program (not so much time ago) it was like "Searching heaven" or something like that. There was this chapter about bible. It was written by jew (or whatever) some time before Moses did his thing and opened sea for his people. It's hard to believe in something that some human just invented. Like many other religion nowdays (And im not talking about christian) they are based on somekind book taht someone wrote when he was mostlikely drunk.
And what is so bad about having sex before marriage? I could except god only as watcher. I don't want anyone to interfere in my life and teach me how to live. and i think that's what faust is talking about. When someone tells you "Find the love you need in god" i just think that "That man couldn't find love in human so he found himself replacement"

OK, the thing about aliens is far-fetched and not conclusively proven, but that has more to do with people's unwillingness to change their beliefs than any lack of evidence. It's a very well-researched, well-documented hypothesis. People just don't want to believe it and so the ideas and evidence go ignored by the scientific community and the populace at large. These aren't necessarily my personal beliefs, although they are fascinating to read. However, it is true that the bible and other religious tomes are based upon earlier tales, perhaps with one original source. The earliest known forms of many of these tales (creation of the earth/universe, creation of man, the great flood, etc) come from the Enumma Elish (sp?) and other Sumerian epics told many thousands of years before "the bible" was written. This is documented fact.
