well PS is not the best for doing illustration such as this .. u should really be doing this in Illustrator.
But if you cant afford it, or ur school dont have it , well I guess. Ummis alright I would put a disc in the pic for some contrast. maybe think about where the light is coming from , because a couple og the gradients contradict eachother .. hmm thats about it not much there to crit ..
if you did do it in illustrator though the text would look a lot nicer , because of the ability of illustrato has to make text follow a path .. ohwell

If you're going for an accurate depiction of a deck, its missing some stuff.

The pitch fader is usually on the other side of the deck, under the tone arm, and the power button is almost always towards the left corner. You also need a button to start and stop the platter, as well as a 33/45 RPM selector. Most half-way decent decks have a strobe light aimed at the platter that will show if your speed is deviating from true.

Also, you're never going to find a tone arm like that, where the cartridge just sits over the record at 90 degrees.

You're probably not that concerned with accuracy, but if you want props from anyone who spins rekkids, you should probably take a look at some real decks.

This is similar to the the kind I use, and a fairly standard layout.

I want add - it's don't correct used grad. (sorry for bad english)
disk and radial grad. - no correct. Linear - yes, but no radial. For flat cover - radial grad. used very rare.

Yea! The Gru guy (who cant speak english hehehaha just kidding) is right...the round spinning thing looks like it's rounded...It doesn't look flat, you should use linear grading Yess!

Actually, I think the conical shading in PSP would look best, if you have that.
