This is actually the first time I used my tablet since I bought it a year ago Just a quick draw like many of you call it. Hehe. Ok ok... honestly this is the best I could get outta my tablet. Was wondering if I could get suggestions or critiques. Much thanks!



If you still can't tell what it is. It's supposed to be a rope necklace with plastic beads and a little kinda clothes pin. *shrug*

Hey EviLToYLeT, thanks for the quick reply on my post. I think for this piece you should first solidify the shapes, then zoom in and add detail (like the weave of the thread, etc). And add a background. Is the necklace flying thru the air? Is it sitting on a table? You get the picture. Keep going!

Yeah there's no question about what you were painting. The problem is, your subject is kinda hard to paint. There's the rope, and then there's little pieces of plastic attached to it... you did well on that, but the rope definitely needs some shading.

rofl sage. Like i said, it was a "quickie." I'm working on it and trying to get all the details in... going pretty well so far except these damn braids in the string are hard to do
