Hi Sempere,

interesting abuse of Dodge and Burn, hehe. I saw this before you mentioned it in my thread but I was too busy at work to comment. I like the goofy face on this guy and the downturned ears. Has a pretty cool feel to it all. I like the detail you've got going on the hands and the outfit. The red in his face and the look in his eyes makes me think he's some sorta alcoholic, haha. Keep up the good work, man.

Of course I know Clever and Smart (They are my childhood heroes). In Spain they are called "Mortadelo y Filemon". His author, Francisco Iba�ez is one of the grandmasters of the original spanish comic... "el Tebeo" o "Historieta".

There are so many years spending time with those characters that is very possible an influence on my work (well, this work).

Ey pal, happy to see you around here, I�m very happy seeing that you liked my picture too. As you noticed, the really hard work was on the suit, it has a lot of detail since the pencil phase. The pity is that with a so small and compressed image the texture is almost impossible to see...

Very soon, I will try to upload a close-up of this picture (and maybe the bluepencil-step).

About the Alcoholic face... That reminds me that the original IRON-MAN, Tony Stark (?) had some serious problems with alcohol in the marvel series...
