Just a test to see if I have the image post correct. A simple drawing of dhabih from the photo on the index page. This is a test. If this had been an actual emergency, you'd have been instructed to give some type of feedback.Thanks.....

Whoa! Nice welcome. Was only a play off the test sequence from the tube. No harm meant. Was my first post and wasn't sure if I had the ubb code correct. As for the pic, guess I'll go chunk every filter I've ever used, and if I can toss out the whole gradient system in photoshop and paint my gradients by hand. Was a bad joke on my part, don't wanna get off to a bad start. I'm very new to using photoshop for anything other than cleaning up renderings. I would like to learn a good deal from you guys, cause from what I've seen, most of you have a firm grip on the comic art techniques. Ultimate images from what I've seen so far. I only have a mouse at the moment, so my pics are gunna appear kinda chunky and sluggish. Here is another attempt at photoshop work, that I would really like your opinion on. I like the piece but it could be improved. I apologize again for seeming arogant, was only a joke.

The second piccy is nice and I like it. couple of suggestions:

1) lose the black outline around the characters head. you have browns either side of it and it sticks out like a sore thumb for no reason. if you want a hard definition around the characters head, use a short gradient that goes to a deep brown

2) maybe put in a fog or cloud effect over part of the image (create a separate layer in photoshop, render -> clouds, then play around with the blending mode and mask out part of it.
