This is my latest piece, inspired by Matt Wagner's Batman/Grendel cover. I used the cover for reference and rendered the image using pencil and markers. I then scanned it in and pretty much touched up everything I felt needed touching up in Photoshop.
I think maybe the blood on his hands is a little too dark.
Comments and Criticism would be most appreciated.
Here is the original by Matt Wagner.

Hey!
Anatomically it looks OK to my eye, only (his) left shoulder looks funny, it shouldn't be sticking out&up (It looks funny in the reference pic as well) so much and the neck is not aligned right, it's more on the right side of his body. (The reference pic seems to have more of a side pose than yours)
I don't agree with the blood being too dark, just put a background behind him so the white won't spoil you from seeing the colors correctly. Setting up background color should be the first step when you start putting color on a pic, it will save you trouble.

Yep, his left shoulder is a bit off. I'll fix it.
I chose the white background specifically to contrast with the blood on his hands, I suppose I will add a background at a later stage.
Thanks for the comments.

The pose was more accurate until I scanned it in and started touching up and messing around. I didn't use the picture as a reference after I scanned it in. I probably should have, but oh well.

Just got back from work . . . I thought I'd do a quick touch up. Improved the pose ( Hopefully ) Fixed the shoulder and a few other assorted things.
