That's really great!
I feel it's pretty old Clint Eastwood like...
Is that true?
What about a bit more younger? |

wow that is good for an hour effort. The main thing is the right hand side of the face, it just looks wrong structurally. The lines leading away from the nose and mouth drag downwards and don't give a nice symmetrical feel to the face. The right hand side of the mouth looks too long considering the way the character is facing. For mine, from the middle part of the mouth to each corner part of the mouth is about the same length. The right hand side should be a little shorter than the left hand side.
There is also something that bothers me about the way the cheek bone forms into the bottom of the eye. It either goes out too far or it is not curved enought. There is also something bizzare happening with his right eye. The pupil is too far up and it is like the top half of his eye lid is missing.
hope those are helpful as it is a nice looking image.

The lighting and colors are great. Excellent job for an hour's work. The main problem I see is that the bottom half of the face isn't quite right, it should be wider. The corners of the mouth almost always fall directly under the pupils of the eyes, check it out in the mirror.
Keep going and keep posting 'em! |
