Do those work with CS 3-4?

Btw if you really want the oilpainting feeling you should give the brushes in TwistedbrushPRO a try.

Some of those are awesome, Acctually I prefere many of them over ...

I think the rendering and colors of the first one is much better.
The only thing that is better on the second is the hand and the foot.

The blur on the second is not as intresting.

I don't think you will have any trouble getting into that school. Very poetic and harmonic and original compositions! I love them.

If you are going to leave three out definatly leave 11 as it looks ...

I love the dramatic squid attack picture! I think the water is excellent.

What I miss though is some lights on the boat and I would imagine the water to become whiter around the squids arms and so ...

I don't think that Anthonys overpainting makes it a better picture, sure it do becomes more real but for me that is not allways a better picture.

Other things you should do is selfportrait from a mirror, its very good practice.

One other excellent object to practice on is sneakers. Try drawing a pair of sport shoes like Nike or addidas.
