That really depends since most programs that save JPGs allow you to determine how much compression to use. Try saving an imagine in Photoshop with a quality l ...

If you are using photoshop, create a new layer about the black and white linework and set the mode to multiply. Then use that layer for coloring.

I think it's actually more interesting this way than if the perspective was perfect; emphasizes the "hillyness" of the scene.

I think a non-realistic coloring would complement this effect well.
