well I'm trying but I'm certainly not succeeding - I took the above sketch and tried to properly cg it but it still looks flat, I'm gonna start again but try to figure out where the lights coming from ... |

damn it's hard to get replies, is my work that bad? I appreciate I'm pretty new and I'm not piecing together full scenes yet but these are just experiments so I really do need feedback to move on... h ... |

another sketch, I might actually start an image tonight I figured out a lot of new stuff, and I don't like the sketch lines so I've stopped work on this one... I'll try my hand at an actual big piece ... |
