I've just started using 3D programs this semester as part of my course at Uni (Computer Games Design).

At the moment, we do a mixture, 3DSMax for game modelling, and Softimage for animat ...

I am interested in having a 3D forum in addition to this one and will visit that as often.

I was actually thinking of using that as a last resort, I guess I could paint my backgrounds in Painter, then import them into Flash, and carry on with the animation from there.
