there is a very nice mood to this picture

some things I noticed:

the flame of the torch on the bottom right it not burning upwards but sidewards.

the detail level is a bit uneven-
the big rocks in ...

...

linedrawings are okay but you need a lot of work on your painting
(does it really take joachim, spoogedemon or loki to tell you that?).

by the way: having (digital) paintings filed under "photo ...

since the brain is not a big pile of goo where everything does everything it does not matter if you draw with left or right.
the centers for motoric movements and the centers for "creativity" are not ...

if you drew this first one freehand then you have a good eye for proportions but a terrible painting technique and color sense(sorry).

you seriously should work hard on your painting technique.

are you aware that when your every word and every stroke is discussed and interpreted for months and years to come it takes out a lot of the fun posting paintings or advice here?

if this isn't inspired by mr baust�dter..

one of the first faults could be corrected by resizing the image to a "normal" size.
there is no reason to see this in wallpaper resolution.

this is a great image already, but it has not much to do with matte painting at all.
