Personally I believe the first one is better artistically then the second. While the second one does have it's own merits it's just to mono-tonal.

I'd submit these to one of the trade magazines!!!

I see what they are talking about when it comes to the hand. It's not the hand per se, but the pinkie. It's spread to far from the other more central fingers.

I do like the dynamics of the pose thoug ...

Great stuff! Though it has abit of over glow. Really twisted material and I LOVE both pieces!

Monolith, it's plenty clear that you are very much a beginner at 3d modelling. The model images and the stated polygon counts really prove that. I totally understand the methodolgy that you are trying ...

While the designs are cool, especially manga stuff.

The HORRIBLE polygoning is not. I'm assuming that these are either models for ingame weapons, the intial prototypes(practice models) for modelling ...

zak, what Drift Kid Runner meant was the rear tire 'support' arm is only on the bikes one side. There really isn't a 'set' of support arms.

I think I'll have to upload some of my DVD captures of the ...

As a 3d user I can say:

WELL DONE!

It's a great try at a difficult model. A couple of things about the bike in question.

*The tires are pure racing tires without treads, so I'd make a worn rubber t ...

My only gripe is how is the person going to ride this bike??? The desig ...

I really love the subtle texture it has. images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

More yellow and less orange/bronze color. And don't forget the skin has some 'veins' in it.

I'm finding that, in the group picture, the shadow that falls onto the red-head disruptive and just does not look good. Maybe a more motley'ed shadow would be best.

I love the sense of movement that this has. Though the 'bots stance is ackward and ill-balanced.

Is the bot back-hand sweeping the people in front of him? Also why is the 'bot looking at it's victim ...
