I have a 19' Optiquest V95, and a TNT2 card.

Now, I am wondering if anyone ran into a problem with 1280x1024 resolution. It's a 5/4 ratio. Right now I am runnig 1600x1200, but the fonts are hard to ...

Actually, this is my first oil paint.
The painting is 16"x20". You can do pretty fine details with oils. This is not all that detailed.

It's very nice. I think there might need to be more of a cast shadow on the sweater from the coat.
You could also put some darker values in the background to define the coat better.

Someone brought this up along the way... but quite seriously:
there is a program that takes two 2d shots of the same object, and if you define the edges, it will make a 3-d rotation of it.
