the pic is great right now but i think it would be ten times better if it was given a sense of motion. right now the characters look like they are actually posing for a still shot.

That's exactly what Doom 3 is aimin for. And if you haven't seen the video previews for that yet, i strongly advise you NOT to. That game will make every other game look like pure 100% crap.
