The flying beast is supposed to be metallic, so it would be very rigid.

Yeah I agree with all of these comments. The mountains in back are really far off, so they probably should be blued out and perhaps with less contrast.

Yeah, its a girl, though I admit she is rather butch. The race is called dracomen, like turkomen I suppose, and of course it includes males and females.

I swear to god there is more definition to her neck, chin etc. in the .psd file. The jpegs just kind of 'smoosh' all the skin tones together.
