The site will have a black background, so design accordingly.
You don't need to preserve all the layers of you logo, but I do need there to be a background layer than can be changed on the fly to me ...

The original should be layered, but the jpg that you submit for consideration, that everyone will see, will need to be flattened.

The purpose of the layered psd file for the finalists is ease of use ...
