The cast shadow looks a little dark for a reflective surface. Also, the reflection fades from bottom to top. Shouldn't it fade from top to bottom?

There is an excellent book on perspective by Earnest Norling. The copy that I have was published in '86, but it's much older than that. If I had to guess, I'd say it was probably drawn in the late '50 ... |
