ok, just tried this on my system - your initial document size is 1.7GB, so 15 x 1.7 = 25.5GB! no wonder you're experiencing lag, you're no longer working 100% RAM, its got to hit the HDD.. |

Photoshop needs the same amount of scratch as you have RAM, so if you allocate 8GB of RAM to PS, it needs 8GB or more for scratch.. a rotating platter of silicone is infinitely slower than RAM, so for ... |

CS4 requires 8xxx series of GeForce or more to work effectively, i put of upgrading to it until i'd got myself an 8600GT.. i don't find any trouble scrolling or zooming on a 4.4GB pano.. |

direct from HP, i ordered it Friday, they said 9 days and then 2-3 shipping, but it arrived yesterday.. it took me a while to calibrate it, but its now up and running and AWESOME!!
