ok, just tried this on my system - your initial document size is 1.7GB, so 15 x 1.7 = 25.5GB! no wonder you're experiencing lag, you're no longer working 100% RAM, its got to hit the HDD..

Photoshop needs the same amount of scratch as you have RAM, so if you allocate 8GB of RAM to PS, it needs 8GB or more for scratch.. a rotating platter of silicone is infinitely slower than RAM, so for ...

CS4 requires 8xxx series of GeForce or more to work effectively, i put of upgrading to it until i'd got myself an 8600GT.. i don't find any trouble scrolling or zooming on a 4.4GB pano..

direct from HP, i ordered it Friday, they said 9 days and then 2-3 shipping, but it arrived yesterday.. it took me a while to calibrate it, but its now up and running and AWESOME!!
